Omar is a clinical oncologist based in Nairobi, Kenya and Head of Department at the Garissa Cancer Center.
His research interests lie in cultural-based cancer care, cancer care equity, global oncology, and clinical trial methodology. Dr. Abdihamid is one of two 2024 Common Sense Oncology Fellows based at Queen’s University.
